History seems to be repeating itself. Colin and Bentley overtook Graeme a few weeks ago and are now stretching their lead. 63 points last week and now sitting at position 10,922 in the DT competition, which is not too bad. Come on guys let’s have a competition; make those changes!

The difference is Colben United is a live team, we have only 25 transfers left. Rio Ferdinand is no longer in our team. Why? Because he has been injured and is not playing. We move players in and out of our team depending on player performance or injury. Will Drogba be in our team after Christmas?

We hope you give us some competition and race us to the end. Make those changes and go for it.

I was going to add a picture of Henry to celebrate the defeat of the foreign ROI team (the break away Irish team, the historic Irish team is NI). However they have made such fools of themselves, pleading for changes to the rules, that there is no need to humiliate them further. Anyway even if the goal had been disallowed the French would probably have still won. Keane was right; get over it!

I thought it was time for an update. I didn’t watch Match of the Day at the weekend; just a bit disappointed by a result. I have had a good Fantasy Football week though, as our team has moved ahead of Graeme, to go top.

Congratulations to David and Elspeth, their Fantasy Football team did very well last week. Ipswich should sack Keane and appoint the Drinkells.

The international break is over and normal service resumes. Graeme, Roger and Martyn are doing very well at present. The rest of us need to take note!

Don’t forget you can make changes to your team this year without a password.

Some of us had a terrible Wednesday night and were probably grumpy on Thursday, however on Saturday we were probably ecstatic. Oh the ups and downs of following a football team!

The weekend is over and I have updated our scores and league positions. Some reasonable scores this week and as a result it is very tight at the top.

This year you are able to make transfers at anytime and there is no need for a password. If you are not happy with your team or think there is a player on form but not in your team, then make the change.

Well, the new season has just started and some of us are off to a good start. All teams are set up and our league is underway.
You should all have details of your teams and how to access them through the Daily Telegraph site. On that site you can make transfers and check the progress of our league.

Please use your transfers this year. There is no password needed this year, just go on the site, look at your team page and make the transfer. We need some competition this year, it is time to knock Colben United off its podium!

If you have been allocated a team, then do make the changes that you think will personalise the team for you.
